I'll admit I get my back waxed once a month. Considering how much that hurts, though, I'm too scared to get anything else waxed. In fact, the first time I got it done, the woman doing it told me to stop swearing and to just man up!

The first part of your message made me think of the scene in 40 year old virgin
I really don't think it hurts that much, but admittedly I don't have a surface area like my back to get done. I think a lot depends on the skill of the waxer, I've had a bad wax and come away very bruised

There's a lady on here that does it, she's done my back for me which doesn't really bother me but I worry about getting my ball sack done, because it's made of such thin skin I worry it will rip open and spill my balls all over the place |

It does make me laugh (and not saying it is true of anyone that has posted here), when guys wince at the thought of getting waxing done but do not think anything if women getting their's done.
I prefer a Hollywood and it took me years to go through with it, but hot wax and a professional means the 15 mins or so of discomfort are well worth it for the results.
