And that's what I'll be doing, I'm currently playing the waiting game, I've been showing a few symptoms that indicate I may have bowel cancer, BUT it could also be a few other problems less serious, it's not IBS which is what I thought it might be, but because of certain factors it isn't, so, I was at the doctors yesterday, and back again next Tuesday for bloods and erm other samples to be taken, then again at the end of the month to find out exactly what is going on with this temple of mine.

I've a nervous couple of weeks ahead but I'm not letting it get me down.

Needless to say, guys, if you think there's a problem, get it looked at, just to be sure it's nothing serious.

I hope it turns out ok. Many men don't go to the Drs with symptoms so you've done the right thing. Even if it is the result you don't want it can be treated. Xx

I'm hoping guys on here see this and make them think, we're a stubburn bunch when it comes to our own health and leave things too late, but hopefully it will highlight that we're not indistructable. Xx

Best of luck, I can truly sympathise as I have to have tests every 6 months to keep an eye on my condition. The waiting is the worst. But the relief after.

Hope you get the results you wish for x

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I had symptoms a few years ago. It turned out to be an infection, but it wasn't fun, especially the colonoscopy!

Good luck OP. Hope all is well.

Great news peeps!!!

It's not the big C, it's something less serious so going the hospital for a closer inspection

Can start having a more peaceful nights sleep now though knowing I don't have a black cloud over my head

Was told worrying about something doesn't achieve anything, and true as that sounds, but when there is uncertainties, your mind just thinks the worst, massive weight off now though

Hopefully it's just a few polyps which are obviously benign....I've had friend who have had this problem and they had them removed without any problems....one was well over 20 years ago. Obviously I don't know if this is it and I'm wittering a bit....just hope it's something along them lines

Great news!

On the back of your advice, I went for a full medical. The doctor asked for a sample of my blood, urine, stools and semen.

I just gave him my underpants
