Although I have recently seen someone suffer the downside of putting a humorous 'go ahead and use whatever you like' type piss-take of the warning on the bottom of her profile. Journalists took her at her word and she, her pics (including face pics and explicit pics of her meets), and her exploits ended up plastered all over the national media here in Ireland for weeks. Although she was outraged at the invasion of her 'privacy', there was nothing she could do as she had, by putting that on her profile, actively given them permission

That actually happened to me once. I turned up at her house and the dirty smell of the whole house just hit me when she opened the door. I left pretty quickly!

Anyone with a self important statement gets passed by, there are so many that make my toes curl. Im sure lots of ladies are nice in real life but their profiles dont make for pretty reading. Im sure its the same on mens profiles too.

I actually prefer a profile with no pictures, and not much content but a few verifications. I can chat and get to know someone then before meeting. I bet I have passed loads by based on their profile.

People who mention Art.8 of the European Convention on Human Rights in their profiles, asserting their right to privacy.

That Article protects you from intrusions from the authorities only (police, councils, central government etc). There is no real private law right to privacy in the UK!

Some people quote US law in their profiles...that definitely doesn't apply
