Just had hours of fun trawling through old photos that my mum and dad had in a box they gave me, looking for decent ones for a family gathering.
Isn't it more fun finding the odd photo that didn't turn out or ones that are proper amateur and double exposed with the heads cut off than the perfect every time digital ones we have nowadays.

my Mum gave me an old box of pics about a year ago! You're right it's good fun trawling through them and you forget that when we were kiddies we didn't have the ability to take thousands of pictures instantly like today!
Remember having to send your pics away and waiting 2 weeks to get them back! |

I'll let you know - I've got boxes of slides off my Mum and Dad to scan. I'm going to make a start on them. Lots of them are photos from my childhood, so it should prove to be very nostalgic. |
