Ok so half way through sex (changing positions) today my erection ran away. HELP! What the hell is going on? Im 33 so surely age shouldn't be a problem. Im not an athlete but im not a slob either, I run at least once a week, usually twice. I do eat crap during the week as I work away from home but make up for it with real food at the weekend. Im not any more stressed than usual

So, WHAT THE F***!!!

This is not unusual, it could be psychological....

A sudden thought of something else maybe....

It happens. Especially if you masterbate frequently or take certain prescription medicines.

It's probably not indicative of any underlying problem, your fear of losing erection caused you to lose erection and experience the very common performance anxiety.

Really probably nothing to worry about.

Have you tried looking in that drawer in the kitchen? Everything seems to end up there in the end.

There's got to have been something on your mind tbh

Relax about it. It happens but over thinking it won't help.

Drink wasn't involved.

I fully agree that if I dwell or worry then it will happen again just a little concerned as it's never happened before.

Freak incident!

More likely to be a psychological than a physiological thing if there are no apparent health problems. Don't worry about it and I'm sure you can make amends next time.

Don't worry pal. It didn't fall off, that's the important thing. There's lots of other things to get up to until it comes back.

Make sure your enjoying the moment, and your mind is on nothing else but you and her.

if it does ever fall off. Come back here, I'll give you tips for that too.

Lmao of it fell off in sure here would be the last place I would be thinking of lmao

Thankfully the lady at the time was actually quite understanding (a bit gutted, I think she took it personally) and quickly got busy fixing the issue with some mind blowing oral skills and I was quick to return and finish the job. Definitely one fault to run with and monitor though.

Cheers for the help/advice/Concern

You'll be fine OP - these things happen to all of us at times....

Overthink it though and you've far more chance of it happening again x

Thinking about it too much. It happens. It's a viscous cycle if you keep worrying about it though.

It's reassuring that you are all saying it happens, but my whole point is that, actually no. It does that happen, not too me. It did scare me a little tbh. I'll mark it as experience and move on though

It never happened to me until it did. There are things that can help if it happens to rear its head (or not) again....

This was a great thread on Erection Help

As with many things it all depends on the details.

One very common reason for failure when "changing positions" is when attempting DP or DVP with another man involved.

Another reason could be the lag between the change of positions or even something silly as hearing voices outside in some circumstances.

An erection is a very strange creature, sometimes making an appearance at the most importune time (and refusing to go) and at other times not appearing when summoned.

Unless it becomes more common you have taken the best route, mark it as experience and move on.

It's utterly normal. Men put themselves through so much pressure to perform and it's not always possible.

Happens to many of us from time to time, try not to dwell on it.
