..if we didn't have our ages posted automatically onto our profiles to indicate how many years we have all been alive.. do you think others would truly know how old you were based on your physical appearance and mental attitudes/ outlook on life??
eg.. sum1 who typz lik dis wud make me fink they wer 12
or someone with a size 10 body, no stretch marks, gorgeous tan, pert breasts would suggest they were 20's not in fact 50's :D |

Well sugar looks fantastic at 24 but she looks her age ,myself i hate piks and i recon i look alot older than 36 ,more like 41 lol but ppl we have met have said i look much better in person so thats a thanks to them i think ha ha the point im making is that it would be impossible to tell ppls age just off they piks ,yea you may be lucky and get 1 or 2 right but overall it would be futile Mr Spock lol

i just know a lot of people are very age specific (and thats their right of course) but wondered why,, when people can look/act younger/older than others. |

if i didnt know your age and that you had a son who is older than me, i would no way think you were 53..
some 53yr olds i know are frumpy, very set in their ways and miserable
so if i were a young man of 30 say and in my head set an age limit to 10years older and 10 years younger i would have presumed you would come into that for deffo |

When younger, i always looked younger than i really was,it had it's advantages, now i'm older i get very defensive about telling people my age...silly i know  |

Yeah! definitely some mileage in the concept. Perhaps if the age specific entry on the profile was replaced with something more akin to the anti age discrimination definition of non specific age bands, and allow people to decide on a profile and discover someones actual age by asking.

i can see why ages are put automatically onto profiles and indeed people can use the opportunity of the profile text to convince others they are indeed older or younger in their ways.

im pretty certain i look and act younger than 56...im not vain about it im very lucky i hardly have any wrinkles even round my eyes and my boobies are still north of my equator .ive always looked yyounger than my age when i had my son every one thought it was my little bother i was 20 and looked about 12 ! Just hope i carry on looking younger ..but you never know do you ? |

i think in some respects i am older in my years (not that i would actually know because i have never experienced being older) but sometimes i act like i do when i was 18
looks wise id say i look older because i am overweight and have stretch marks, despite having a baby face.
How is a 23yr old supposed to act and look?? there are no specific criteria after all |

we met a couple,who had on their profile.only couples who were around the same age as them.
we were exactly the same age as them.
the guy brought this up,right away.
he said,we were to young.
i pointed out,we were the same age as them.
he still seemed a bit dubious,until i said,we would be the only couple on the site,who pretended to be older,than we actually were.
we went on to have a brilliant night.

I might be able to get away with saying I'm 40 if we're talking physical. Mentally I think you can tell I'm not in my 20s.
My OH is 50, physically he looks mid 40s, stamina wise much younger, much more than myself and I'm 7yrs younger. Again mentally you would be able to tell he's not a naïve 20yr old |

I was playing a game with my one over one boss's son with his mum, and one of the rules say start with the youngest person etc...
He asked me if I am older than his mum, and I said yes, by as much as 6 years, and bless his little socks, he looked genuinely surprised!
My one over one boss had said that I may be the oldest within my department, I am certainly not the oldest in behaviour or in outlook! |

I think i would.. for me my age preferences are for a general guideline. I know what i'm find physically attracted too and i just like the company of mature, well spoken men.. who know how to treat a lady. Its fair to say that those qualities can be found in a 23yr old male (who is currently under my age preferences) |

I'm 46 and I've had quite a few 'No way!' comments from people when I've told them. Whether they were being kind or genuine I have no way of knowing but I do have a young person's outlook on life, very little grey hair and can still party hard without getting a hangover lol (which pisses Siren off no end!) |

I have my very lower age and upper limits and to be honest those are stretching it already so if someone says they are a tad younger or older I ask to look at pics incase they look older or younger so it is about appearance for me and what look turns me on. I have seen some fab bods of very much older men than my age limit but then Im put off by face and hairstyle clothes etc so it is just a suck it and see exercise when choosing a suitable meet I think  |
