What do you do to make yourself feel better?
Im a firm believer that healthy eating rules dont count if youre ill.
On that note if someone could bring me a white pudding and tattle scone roll and a cup of tea that would be great.
Brown sauce on the roll please x |

"Stay in bed if possible and sleep myself better, however that i am usually unable to do that so just get on with things. I don't get ill often though. "
I haven't had as much as a cold in years so I think this is gonna floor me. Lying in bed was making me cough |

"I just feel sorry for myself.
A big playlist on Spotify. A tidy house and I don't move from the sofa eating my comfort foods. "
I am totally wallowing in self pity right now
Maybe I need a "look after me" playlist! |

"Sorry to hear you're feeling unwell Bunny.
I like a hot water bottle, a fluffy blanket and to crash out on the sofa. If that comes with snuggles and snacks, all the better "
Thank you.
Hot water bottle is a good idea! My back hurts from coughing. |

I dont class myself as vegetarian because I dont refuse meat on moral grounds I just dont like it.
White pudding is made of oats and sometimes suet so yeah if I was veggie I wouldn't eat it. |

I refuse to be ill... If I do feel under the weather, I try my very best to pretend that I'm fine and get on with doing the things I would normally do. The distraction pretty much always works for me.

I hope it helped! "
Yeah feeling better. Gonna take another easy day today instead of rushing back to work so I can be 100%.

I fight my illness by trying to increase my endorphins. I either jog or play badminton or pretending to be happy.
And I take a lot of hot spicy soups - oriental soups (eg Tom Yum).
My illness seldom last more than 2 days. |

Bowl of oxtail soup and a ham barm with salad cream on it, good for dipping in the soup. A side order of salt and vinegar square crisps washed down with a bottle of Dr Pepper! Doesn't always do the trick and quite often makes me feel worse but most of the times sorts me out. |

Blueberries always help me, but they're way to healthy for poorliness. Wrap yourself up in a duvet cocoon, soup and crusty bread, Beechams and chocolate!
Feel better soon, lovely! X |

Woke up this morning, put a foot out of bed and boom! Back just froze up on me.
Laid up on the sofa in pure agony unable to move waiting for a call back from the dr.
Recon I may be stuck here for a couple of days
If anyone can recommend a good to to series to get into and binge watch, I'd be very grateful.

Unless I'm too ill to walk I take whatever medication is necessary and soldier on. Food wise, I usually fancy fish and chips, especially after a stomach bug. |

It would be pretty cold and horrible by the time I got there.
You could bring supplies and cook it at mine "
Sweet. You have a microwave, right? |

That's a bummer. .. if still coughing may i suggest a natural cure...
warm water with heaped table spoon of natural honey a couple pinches of turmeric and a grating of fresh ginger bring boil gently and let it settle and cool a little then sip slowly. There's natural soothing and healing properties in it and it tastes good too...may leave a little yellow tinge in your throat but tumeric is the healing agent.
I'm rarely sick but last two times I've been on a drip in hospital after picking up dengue fever and another tropical illness. So its hospital confound the nurses and consultants and sleep lol. |

Sorry you're feeling poorly sweetie xx.
I very rarely get sick, but when I do I'm completely miserable - Pots of tea and piles of toast (if I've the energy to make it to the kitchen - otherwise I starve until the illness passes - downside of being single and living alone in the countryside), and binge-watch an entire season of sci-fi, under a blanket, while being spooned by my sofa.... |
