So I'm walking down the biscuit aisle in a well known supermarket, known for its extra special food items. I must of been trudging up and down for a good 15 minutes, browsing the gargantuan selection of delicious baked peices of heaven before me. Suddenly I stop and see a guy doing what I assume is the same thing, we have a moment looking at each other in amusement. We suddenly start laughing and rapidly turn to debating the necessary qualities of a good biscuit. Things got a bit tense as the conversation moved onto Jaffa cakes....... We dont want to start that one! Anyway I digress. What I want to know is, what does the world of Fab think makes a good biscuit and any suggestions for some to try that I possible haven't tried?
Cheers guys xx

This could have been written for me.
Anyway, I like cookies that taste good. And that are chewy, not crumbly. Chocolate is usually an added bonus. |

"Chocolate Hob Nobs surely. A very robust biscuit with excellent dunkability if you're into that sort of thing, which I am."
I have an issue with chocolate hobnobs. They used to have more chocolate on them!! Now its like they have sneezed the chocolate onto it and spread it with a trolls pubes!.
On a serious note, who agrees that hobnobs should release a caramel flavour, similar to the caramel digestive? |

Written for you?
I like my cookies crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Salted caramel and chocolate is my current cookie addiction. |

I am non-sectarian when it comes to biscuits and cookies and like all sorts. The humble fig roll needs more people rooting for it and the good old custard cream is a much overlooked biscuit but I have no preference other than I will always go for one with chocolate or a creamy filling involved when offered a biscuit from an assortment. |

Oooh I do love a fig roll! I had never tried them until the end of last year when a customer left a few with a selection of other biccies on a plate with a cuppa for me. Oh the revelation! |

"I personally love Digestive Dark Chocolate, but gotta love some hobnobs"
I think hobnobs have taken the best biscuit title, mainly due to versatility, variety and all round greatness. |
