There and to the left a bit |
In order:
1 - Sean Connery - the first and still the best
2 - Daniel Craig - as others have said probably the closest to Fleming's character
3 - George Lazenby - much maligned but I thought he did a damned good job of it in OHMSS
4 - Timothy Dalton - another that played it to an extent close to Fleming's character
5 - Roger Moore - up to and including The Spy Who Loved Me were good, anything after that were just a joke and overplayed the comedy angle
6 - Pierce Brosnan - just never warmed to him as Bond |

"Brosnan for the phwooaarrrr factor... (yes, I am a bit biased there lol)
Connery for the best Bond overall tho. Always remember me Mum saying he had a walk like a panther. "
Ian Fleming said it first... |

While all bonds over the years have amazing talent, I think the traditional bond role is now getting blurred.
Bond is a smooth savy quick thinking gentle intelligent man who can handle himself in sticky situations and who has a penchant for shaken martini and sexy women.
And all the world over, the traditional bond became a sought after brand which was very compelling. In my opinion the brand is beginning to lose it.
My heart bleeds. |
