Tell me about the things that infuriate you but there is no reason for them to do so.
Mine is someone 'helping ' me to reverse my car using various hand features and noises, when ive not asked them to It drives me INSANE and yet they are only trying to help.

Well meaning people helping me when I am not struggling with something, and then having to start again because they have inadvertently messed it all up. I know the had the best intentions... so I have to smile and keep calm and not scream at them |

"When people talk to me while I'm on the phone to someone else. Winds me up
Or yes, when someone butts in to try and help me when I didn't ask or need it"
My kids will have busied themselves for an age doing their own thing, as soon as I'm on the phone they materialise with some urgent need |

That's the only way anyone can attract my attention, unless they wave their hands in front of my face, as I shut off the auditory channel when I'm engrossed in what I doing. Tapping me shocks the kinaesthetic channel into emerging from my 'trance like' state.
I learned to shut it off so I could concentrate in otherwise distracting environments. Anyone who tries to get my attention by calling me, unless they start bawling at me, is likely to need to be very patient. |

"When someone is a passenger in my car and they give me directions when I know where I'm going! It happened last night and I really had to bite my tongue!"
Any form of back seat or passenger seat driving ticks me off |

Trying to serve customers at work who are on their phone and hold their finger up telling you in a minute. Your the one who stood in the queue knowing you were going to be served. Ring them back |

Those 'resealable' packets of food (pasta, raisins etc) which you can never open anyway without ripping the whole bag open and the sticker that's supposed to seal it is never sticky. Makes me completely disproportionately furious and I want to hurl the thing at the head of the Tesco customer services person and demand my money back |

People I do know.
People on the telly.
People driving cars.
People n the supermarket.
People in the street.
People."
This is me but replace the word 'people' with 'children' |

You can almost guarantee this. Twice just now during a very important call in fact.
Also, they like to shout things...

"When people sniffle "
I'd forgotten about that one. I used to work with a woman who used to sniff every 20 or so seconds whether she had a cold or not. It really irritated me, I had to move offices to get away from her, only to end up next to a guy with bo who slurped his coffee |

Yes!!! If I want any help, believe me, I'll shout. If not - fuck off!! "
When they walk in to the kitchen and saunter up to the pot and pick up a spoon and stir the contents..... Oh the incandescent rage that just wants to erupt out of me!!! |

People who slurp hot drinks...if it is too hot leave it to cool down.
People who bite their forks whilst eating...do you want it in your eye
People who try and take my food or suggest putting all the takeaway in the middle...get to fuck.

People in the great outdoors or on the beach who have to come and sit close to you despite there being masses of free space.
I came here to get peace and quiet. Go back to the city if you're scared |

My Cleaner. Lovely lady but I have an irrational momentary dislike when I see her.
No matter where she is the moment I pick up my phone she appears as if by some sort of annoying mischief magic and starts hoovering by my ear.
It's a battle of wits that she wins all the time. |

Going to the supermarket to find the wines and beers are at the furthest end. You search the shelves for half and hour after your hike for a bottle of plonk that you have no idea if it'll taste good or not and end up giving up, getting pizza and crisps instead. |

Oh yes! Not the sharers! Especially "shall we share a dessert?" No! If I want dessert I want the whole thing!
As an extension to biting the fork, people who chew really soft food (like ice cream ) and you can hear their teeth clack together. An ex and his dad both used to do it and it made me feel very stabby |

Ethnic cleansing etc is pure evil but maybe there should be some type of cleansing of those who're causing such irrational distress?
My pain isn't fully irrational but relates to those who wander around, seemingly oblivious to your presence - shoving past, bumping into you, getting too close and possibly smelling unfresh.
Hearing and seeing open mouths eating. |
