Was chatting to a woman I chat with alot Friday, and we were comparing previous relationships and stuff and she said she is a ucker for a bad boy even though they treat her like crap.
She then said I'm to nice!
So.ladies, what's better, a guy who's respectful and kind and is generally nice or some cavy bad boy in a cap and jeans round his ass cheeks, and is the stereotypical bad boy........discus |

Do we have to keep narrowing down our choices all the time?
This site allows fantasy. Escapism. For some that'll mean wined, dinef and seduced. For others a quick fingerblast when you really shouldn't....
And then some of us are greedy and like it all ways |

Gotta be a gent in the streets and a bad boy in the sheets. "
I said this but she said to me he was crap in bed, but stayed cause he was a bad boy!
She then said she knows nice people who'd be good for her but always picks the idiot or selfish ones.
I don't get why! |

You do know she's just painting a picture that she wants you to see ? Or put more simply she's spouting B.S. for the sake of it. |

When I was with my ex for 9 years there was a balance of 60% uncertainty and 40% total adoration. Meaning that he was flaky and I never quite knew where I stood, he had all the beads (power) and I was always wanting the 40% total adoration side of him to come out where I felt totally secure and loved.
I've been single more or less 8 years and my pattern of men has always been the same thing, the ones I'm not that arsed about are crazy about me and the ones I get hung up on are the ones who make me feel like I don't know where I stand. Now if the guys who made me feel like I don't know where I stand treated me like the guys who are crazy for me, I wouldn't let like them as much and if the ones who are crazy for me acted a bit more like they don't give a shit, I'd like them more. It's fucked up and It's a cycle I'm trying to break. |

Emotionally damaged women seek to repeat these abusive relationships by seeking out men who will treat them badly. Typically it's a poor relationship with their Fathers that starts it.
Conversely, people with a history of healthy relationships use them as the benchmark for future ones.
Heavily linked to self esteem too. |

My Father never bothered with me from birth, so that fits with what I'm like! |

Lie down on my couch.
You do not really like or love the ones that are not that good to you.
You work hard to make them see you and love you as you feel you should be loved. It's nothing to do with them. You just want to fix them cos they can't see how magnificent you are.
It is attached in some ways to low self esteem sadly.

There's no such thing as too nice!
What they're really telling you is that you're too insecure to be who you want to be and lower your inhibitions. You're not too nice, you're too concerned about being perceived as nice and it comes off as weak and timid...a pushover. Women like nice men! What they don't like is being with a man whom other men can easily dominate and take advantage of. The man who is 'too nice' won't be aggressive enough to get the resources needed to provide for a family and to protect his woman. That's what the instincts tell them.
In addition to that, she's also telling you that she doesn't want to be the one to initiate naughty behaviour. You're being 'too nice' because you're not seeing her as a sexual being that wants to be fucked! You're being too nice and respectful and naive as to the puddle in her panties.
That doesn't mean be an asshole or disrespectful and unrefined but it means wake the fuck up and realise that she's a sexual being. She wants you to take some risk, be courageous, and take the lead with skill and tact.
You're too nice = I want to be seduced and lead but you're too much of a coward! |

My preference is totally for nice guys - who are respectful, considerate, understanding, thoughtful, unselfish and genuinely interested in women as individuals. But they've got to have a glint in their eye and a filthy streak buried not too far from the surface ... |

"I can't be nasty. It's not in my nature, I'd just be something I'm not. And that's fake. "
Yeah, I think like that.
I just be me,try and be a good dad and a mostly nice person (we all lose our rag sometimes). Anything else is just fake like you say.
I'm liking the varied answers/responses though.keep em coming |

The baddest I've been was when I hid a toy as a child so other kids couldn't play with it "
I love good guys but preferably ones who aren't quite so young |

nice definitely.
been with the dickhead guy and didn't enjoy it. made me laugh when he told our oldest son he still loved me, he never loved me or doesn't know what love is.
being fucked about or knowing where i stand?
being honest or doing shady shit behind my back?
lying to save your own ass or not lying to save mine?
helping yourself to my shit and not giving much back in return?
not focusing on me or being devoted?
i know what i enjoy and know which type of guy will give that to me. bad boys are shit and not even fun and just repulse me now i know i'm worth more. would like to thank the one nice guy i ever has a relationship with for proving that to me. |

Please stay as you are. Change for no one. That lady is obviously happy to be walked over, talked down to and maybe controlled. Thats been my experience with so called bad boys...never again. However, a lot of women hope to meet decent guys. I miss dating gentleman! . When I'm ready to date for real, those are the types I'd hope to meet. Happily go without until then. |

In some circumstances this is correct. I've even started dating guys I really ought to fancy but who were just too WET for me to get excited about lol! Like many women, I like masculine, confident, even cocky men who kind of ooze testosterone and make me feel a bit subby in relation to them....but in order to do that, they have to be competent, considerate, and make me feel SAFE!!
That means they know how to treat a woman (well!!) and look out for her!
The reason the 'bad boy' is such a myth is it is based around exciting, sexy, confident men who might be the young rebels of society (ie bad) but are sexually attractive. Think Marlon Brando on a Triumph!
That doesn't mean they treat women badly - those guys are just worthless shits! Any woman that repeatedly puts up with men who 'treat women badly' has self-esteem issues. |

Doesn't always work...too nice on a social meet = no sheets"
How about meeting for sex first. I'll be a bastard afterwards and it won't matter then. |

"Havn't you worked out from th above replies: All Girls love a bastard!!
Then spend their time bitching about them when they "split up" (get dumped)."
you can't get dumped by a dickhead, they never fuck off for good. takes ages to get rid of one and even then they'll keep trying their luck. |

Definitely nice guy.
I've done the dating dick heads things, but realised I deserve so much better. Now when I get a whiff of dickheadery - they're gone. Simple as. I just can't tolerate the bullshit that comes with dating sometimes these days lol |
