I'm seeing it later today but I guess you know exactly what you're gonna get with an Alien film don't you? There's not a huge amount you can differently so I'm expecting pretty standard fare to be honest

I find must prequel type movies to be very disappointing, I so wanted to enjoy Prometheus but it was such a let down. I fear the same for this one.

In my opinion I thought it was a tad better then Prometheus, much more action paced with more origins and evolution of the actual Alien itself.

It was alright as a popcorn movie - pretty much as you'd expect it to be and the ending was telegraphed and a bit obvious but worth a night out in your local multiplex I think!

And, as all good Alien films should, includes a lady running around braless in a singlet carrying a big weapon. Box ticked!
