These last few weeks I've read a lot of comments sections from different media outlets social media pages on Facebook and Twitter, what strikes me is the "wee (wo)man syndrome" that infiltrates any comments which the lefties don't agree with
Are the left actually capable of putting up a combative argument or are they only able to nit pick at grammar and spelling errors? |

It's probably one more for the politics forum (and it'll probably be moved there!) but the left and right are as bad as each other.
Everyone on the left assumes all on the right are raving racist nazis - everyone on the right assumes everyone on the left is a simpering Libtard. There seems to be no centre ground or rational arguments these days!  |

But isn't the politics forum, and what it represents, endemic of this very problem? I mean, everyone is becoming more and more polarized, so let's stuff it all in a corner (or a separate forum  ) where all the moderation and rationality can be removed and each of the polarized opinions can become ever more distilled. It's the same as people who refuse to talk politics these days, or watch the news - it's helping to foster an environment where only the heavily partisan has a voice.  |
