I'm amazed how many, guys if I'm honest, admit they've not been tested. Married and using condoms and think that means they don't need testing.
I'm married and insist on condoms. I still get tested regularly. I'm still told I'm high risk. As high a risk as swingers  |

I think it is seriously brilliant that you took that photo and posted it. It really helps lower the stigma of going to get tested. It's like people are ashamed to admit they get checked, because they think people will believe them to be promiscuous, to warrant being regularly tested, but all it takes is one person to spread an STI.
Your post about getting screened made me 'woman up' and get past my needle phobia and get a HIV screening, and Hep B immunisations done.
I use condoms every time without fail, but the fact is that medical professionals are not sure how exactly Hep B is transmitted.

That was my sole intention. To hear it directly had an effect on someone and prompted them to get tested is brilliant.
So glad you got your hep vaccination too. They should test you to check its 'taken'. I was already covered by the injections I'd had in the navy, so I thought. I wasn't. So I got vaccinated a second time. |
