What are the members of fab's opinions of what to see in Edinburgh?

I'm working nearby next week for a couple of nights, so want to explore the city in the evening!

Do a Ghost walk!!! Even though we all know ghosts are bobbins it's a good laugh and a chance to be sociable too! The one I went on ended up in a pub! Mind you that was a few years ago!

Like the sound of that, am I Edinburgh next week for a night. Although I scream at any movement so not sure if it's suitable for scaredy cats like me!

Last time i was in Edinburgh i spent a day in the National Museum of Scotland and the Camera Obscura (which itself isn't cheap!) Both very enjoyable if you have the time. In any case there is lots to do in Auld Reekie if not for the plethora of bars and boozers!

What's with everyone suddenly coming to Edinburgh? I feel invaded

If you are only free in the evenings youre kinda limited.

The ghost walks look fun (I haven't done one but I see them out and about loads!)

You can do the open top bus til about 8pm I think. Theres millions of pubs with a range of live music or theres comedy clubs.

I think it closes early though. We're still out of season

Everything is open late if you come in August!

Hey thanks for the suggestions. Yeah I was only going to be free in the evenings. Just wanted to walk about, chill find a nice place to eat and see what was about really.

Of course I'll take my book so it doesn't look like I'm lonely as I eat my candlelit dinner alone haha
