The Raw HTML editor saves your HTML exactly as you enter it. You can switch to the Visual editor by clicking the Settings tab and changing the Editor setting to Visual. Note, however, that some of your HTML may be modified when you save the component if you switch to the Visual editor.
erm yeah what does that mean? am on a site where i'm (supossedly) able to edit the layout to answer questions but i can't seem to be able to anything.
tried opening inspector (dev tool) and don't seem to be able to anything there either?
and yes i have googled, it's why i'm flitting on and off here coz i am googling like fuck and not finding anything.
i don't think adblock is doing anything either, turned it off for this page and it's made no difference.

I'm guessing the html editor is so you can edit the html by hand and the visual is so you visually place images and blocks of text where you want it as the user would see it if that makes sense |

ok, thanks.
you did used to be able to edit pages using ctrl+shift+c but i can't figure out how to do this any more and not even sure i should be using that and this page should just be editable by default.
gonna try google browser if i don't find a solution. |

"What is your goal? Been a web developer for 18 years so I may be able to help."
hi, i'm not even editing an actual page (there is no webshell i can get into here).
what it is the page i am using says the above about being able to edit as RAW html and i put my answers to questions this way. but i don't see any way to edit anything at all. i'd post i link to the actual page so you could see what i mean but i think it'll get deleted and me banned?
gonna risk it anyway:
