A family who had acquired a lost work of art but didn't realise what they had sold it for £45 in 1958.
The piece was known to exist but was considered lost to time.
Who was the artist?
Leonardo Da Vinci! and the piece found was 'Salvatore Mundi' - Saviour of the World, depicting Christ holding an orb, and it has been recently valued at £120m.
You just wouldn't wanna be told if you'd let something like that go for pennies would you. |

Same subject but different level, the times we used to watch antiques road show with my granny and she would say i had one of those and threw it out/gave it away.
Someone got a good bargain for £45 lol |
