I think it looks pretty good!

As someone that has had so many of my beloved stories ruined by tv and film, I've learned to just appreciate adaptations as their own thing...

It looks like they're cramming in too much into one film. The writing in the trailer was god awful (why in hell did they choose those lines). It looks like the trailer for a young adult adaptation more than anything.

And lastly, he's not wearing a hat.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I haven't seen the trailer and I'm not optimistic that they can interpret Roland as I have always seen him.

I read both versions of The Gunslinger and I'd wonder which subtle version of Jake and Roland they chose.
