locked e mail account

I have an old email mail account that I am locked out of. The backup e mail account and phone numbers pass are out of date so resetting password not possible! Amy clever IT guy got a solution please.... xx

It's a Y mail account

the backup address is a Hotmail account x

If it's yahoo! and as you say your backup is a no go, then unless you can re guess the password, unlikely.

How about the associated Hotmail account? Is it possible to get into that easier?

I had the same problem and I did contact them to see if I could reset it, they gave me loads of question to answer and at the end said there wasn't enough information to verify me by, their recommendation was just to open a new account, I still have they old one open and run a new one as well
