love them or loath them, are you more a cat person?
I returned from the hospital today and caught both my dogs in my bedroom. The 'doodle has figured out if he head butts a door it opens, and this is what he had done.
Both dogs in my bedroom, lady muck the beardie stretched out across my bed and the doodle lying blissfully on the floor surrounded by the contents of my laundry basket....... neither of them even had the shame to hang their heads when I appeared though! |

I'm positive my doodle can open the side-gate between my house and the garage... he certainly can't go over it as it's six foot. |

"Mans best friend and mankinds greatest invention, dogs are faithful, intelligent companions, guardians and hard workers.
Cats are just selfish parasites!"
We'll go along with that but you missed out 'evil'!

Love both dogs and cats.
We can't keep dogs because we both work long hours.
We do have 3 cats, all have different but brilliant personalities much to our amusement... they are all special to us |

I'm one of those rare folks that loves cats and dogs and have often had them both living in harmony in my home. Just this latest move that the cats insisted on going back to the last house, so they stay there now and I visit. |

I love my dog. Have started getting a bit stressy at times over the fact that shes 11.
Shes just a brilliant dog, never had any trouble with her. Shes never chewed anything, never stolen anything, doesnt ever run off, walks at the side of you without a lead, shes great.
The only thing she does do is run alongside joggers or cyclists in the park, she'll come back if you call her, but she always starts to run alongside them for some reason.
Shes a Springer Spaniel so been an active dog, now she has the onset of arthritis, but is on tablets, she cant run as she used to. Shes such a loving dog, the best thing she does is when im upset or had an argument at home and rush upstairs into my bedroom in tears, she follows me up and sits next to me and puts her head on me.
Shes great

"Do not like cats as they only belong to them that feed them. lmao
Prefer dogs
You have to feed dogs too you know. "
If you have dogs AND cats, don't the dogs just eat the cats? |

"Im a cat person. Dogs would be too much hard work for me. Ive seriously contemplated having a lap dog but i wouldnt want a big one"
I've often wondered where my lap goes to when I stand up.
By the same token I wonder if when you stand up a lap dog becomes a leg dog. Not as catchy is it.
Remember! A dog is for all of your limbs not just your laps. |

I love dogs, cats I can take or leave.
I would love a dog but my lifestyle just isn't conducive to keeping one (limited space, out for 10/12 hours a day etc).
So I will save it for my later years when I have more time to be with a dog before I buy on.
Til then I will continue to walk down the street pausing to stroke anything that vaguely resembles a canine.
My other half and mates go mad at me for stopping every 5 minutes patting dogs, chatting shit to their owners |

Dogs love them but due to both working full time it wouldnt be fair on them.
Cats i hate them (mark) Suzanne loves them. they have no loyalty what so ever.
Ferrets are the way ahead, easy to look after, cute and playful, providing you get them young and are well handled. |
