Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

According to my Yahoo front page, there is a new gonorrhoea strain resistant to all available antibiotics.

Looks like extra impetus for safe sex folks!

this is nothing new, all bacteria strive to evolve to resist the antibiotics thrown at them. One of the reasons why it is important to finish a course of antibiotics and make sure it does not survive as a resistant strain.

Science also never rests in searching out new and very ancient antibiotics for the purpose of fighting infections.
