I agreed that they tried to redeem Jar Jar, but they did try to redeem Scrappy by turning him into a villain in the live action film |

Jar Jar, never had a problem with scrappy. But Jar Jar changed the whole tone of Star Wars.
Also read a blog ages ago, that gives genuine (sort of plausible) evidence that Jar Jar was planned to be a key part of the trilogy possibly a Sith.
I always skip the Jar Jar bits when the films on. |
