I had similar, had an accident while abroad, was treated and released after a night in, and the Drs didn't tell me to stay out of the sun. I ended up a very interesting shade of scarlet.

They go in cycles when they prescribe. Favourite one at the moment where I live, is Clarithromycin for chests. Can be nasty on the tummy.

I had antibiotics that gave me heartburn so bad I swore I was dying. I had to take omeprazole to fight the side effects!

I hope you feel better soon _eeside. Chest infections are so annoying, they just keep hanging around!

idk why they even cause those symptoms, had to tell a guy at the dole about it as well when he interviewed me (this was years back, never had to go back since thank god).

wish i'd had a metformin poop buddy to help me feel better.

"I had orange wee once. Im not sure what the medicine was, Id been around someone with meningitis and it was a preventative thing! "

Rifampicin causes orange pee, tears and sweat. It is usually given as a combination with clindamycin to treat hidradenitis suppurativa. I didn't get as far as having the orange bodily fluids. The clindamycin caused a clostridium difficile infection which can be life threatening if untreated and i had to stop all medications.

That's because amoxycillin was always first choice to be prescribed. Now people are developing resistance to it, hence you are now on doxycycline.

As I posted earlier. Clarithromycin is flavour of the month near me. Huge yellow tablet, nasty on the tummy. Irritates your veins too, if given by a drip

I had post natal depression and was prescribed something to help but it gave me mastitis no good when breastfeeding. I stopped taking it and it cleared up.

Prozac. Had no idea what I was doing I forgot how to drive... Simply couldn't remember what to do.

"I'm taking Lymecycline atm, similar to you Op for 3 months and told to stay out of the sun. But I go out twice a day with my dog for walks and it hasn't affected me yet, thank goodness.

I'm also taking drugs for a brain tumour. There are only 3 drugs on the market that treat my condition and I have side effects from them all. One gives me horrendous nausea, another muscle weakness and the third chest congestion. So they are rotating them... it's back to nausea atm.

Is not much fun taking meds! Hope your chest gets better soon x"

Thanks.

I hope you get better soon to
