Although I'm fairly pc literate, when it comes to music formats I have to admit to being a bit of a technofud. Here's my problem:
In the old days I'd download music from Limewire and burn it to a cd to play in the car but now when I do that the cd player doesn't recognise any of the files on it.
With the demise of p2p filesharing networks (or the threat of being denied internet access for using them) I stopped using Limewire and I now download music videos from youtube.
Is there a way of extrapolating just the music from a video for burning to a cd?
Or is there a better way of doing it altogether. Siren has an iPhone and I don't mind paying for music so long as it will play on my car stereo.
MP3? MP4? - I find it all a bit confusing so would appreciate some helpful advice on what the differences are.
Thanks in advance. |

"Google "Free YouTube to MP3 Converter"
We use it all the time. The quality of youtube uploads is variable, but some are fine. Very easy to use."
That's what I needed to know - that it could be done. I've got hundreds of youtube vids and didn't fancy downloading the mp3 files for each all over again. Tks. |

Hi right limewire is a public tracker try using Bitsoup its private and if you set your torrent client up correctly you will be some what undetectable to your ISP.
Ive been on private trackers such as torrent leech and IP torrents for years with virgin and no problems . truth is virgin don't care
the quality of the audio on u tube vids are sometimes not that good and play back in your car will sometimes sound poor.
NERO is good for burning audio files
and it just might be the fact that you have a few crap blank disk's.
But honest don't let the music company s scare you join bitsoup its free great peeps on there movies all sorts even some naughty hd films yum yum .
And all the music you could need .
if you have any questions send me a message

Try this link: http://www.softsea.com/review/Free-YouTube-to-MP3-Converter.html
Otherwise have a good Google-about for: 'free youtube audio recorder'
Good luck! |

i use this all the time to download straight into my Itunes music folder and then straight onto my phone....
mp3 is just for music... mp4 is for music and video, but i wouldn't bother...lol
anyway in itunes in can convert all the music into the same size file... and you can always buy an iphone to car stereo adapter that you can buy those cheaply... |

Great advice guys n gals. Thank you all very kindly. Would be nice to join the new age revolution at some point as my 13y/o daughter thinks I'm an old fuddy duddy cos the only cd's I play in the car are compilation cd's that invariably have fookin Bronski Beat on them! Shit, shouldn't have admitted that should I lol |
