After seeing the grand prix today, it got me wondering what are the best and worst live spectator sports? I could never see the point of spending hundreds of pounds to watch either motor racing or golf where you can only see part of the whole event live. At least when watching team sports, you can see the whole of the event in the stadium, and not be restricted to just watching one hole at a time or one part of a course. |

Well I`m really chuffed that we`ve got the Olympics sailing sooooo close to me and I`d have to take pot luck to get a ticket to see something that`s going to be a good 1/2 a mile away from the closest spectator point! 
Best spectator sport? If you`re into motorsport, wander along to a tractor pulling competition! Up close to the track which is only 100 metres long and some really amazing machines! Take a pair of ear defenders though! And make sure you wear them too!  |

Golf on tv is the only way to have a scooby whats going on, to be at it, stood next to a tee,watch Tiger whack the ball then?? Well then he walks away and you dunno even where he's hit it to?
Motorbike racings great, they overtake each other and everything, yes on the track! |

while by all rights it should be the dullest sport in the history of the universe, darts is incredible entertaining.
conversely, while the hype suggests it should be well worth watching, mixed martial arts atend to be rather dull as they usually just involve someone sitting on someone else until they give up. |
