Ugly is an ugly word.... we live in a world full of forced images to what we should aspire to look like... celebrities photoshopped to look perfect, gym magazines throwing 6 packs and huge pecs at us.... it all sinks in and we then get stuck comparing to what we cant have no matter how much effort we put in, because body shaming will always happen.
a friend of mine used to be a size 22, worked her weight down to a size 12 but in her own mind, each time she looks in the mirror she still sees the size 22 woman.
most people have something they do not like about them selves, for me I have more than my fair share of scars.. each has their own story but I honestly cant do anything about it so I simply accept its my body.... some will like it, some wont.
accept your not to everyones tastes and life becomes a much better place, accept who you are, what you are and what you have |

Sometimes beauty is only skin deep
So your better off opting for a ugly appearance to meet a better person
But the real gems are the ones that are a really nice person, looks great and just don't know it |

Of course, that's why I apologise for face pic Friday. Even the mirrors in my house turn away.
Ugly is subjective, but I think that truly ugly comes from people's nature and how they are as a person. X |

I've always followed the train of thought that ugly not a word that should be used to describe another persons appearance unless it said some by misguided individuals who are themselves horribly ugly on the inside....
Our appearance in most part is an accident of birth rather than something to be celebrated or objectified with mindlessly cruel taunts ....

I think deep down even the most vain of people think they're ugly and constantly want to change or enhance themselves, real bueaty is in a persons confidence not their physical appearance.
Am happy with what I see in the mirror and in my pics, I've had long enough to get used to me |

I don't think they do, most people with an ugly personality think they're amazing. I know a couple of truly ugly souls, and they seem to think they're the best thing since sliced bread.
I don't think my face is ugly. If I ever get criticism on my appearance it's generally that my hair's too short and I could do with losing a stone or two. The face is alright though so i'm not losing on all counts |

Let us be fair, everyone knows when someone is fine or ugly but the truth is however you are, some people will always like you and root for you, find where your fans are located and make them happy and they will make you the superstar you really are, irrespective of whether you are ugly or fine.
I can tell you this truth because I realised I was not every womans cup of tea even though am very handsome but when I found my fans I became an instant super star, an the funny thing is my fans are far far more beautiful and sucessful when compared to the other women |

Ugly is every bit as subjective as beautiful. The same person can be both to different people. What is sad is when someone sees themself as ugly and bitching about their pictures might just put a kernel of that idea into their head so I choose not to. Just because I don't find someone visually attractive doesn't mean others won't and my opinion doesn't matter anyway so I don't see the point in sharing the negative when sharing the positive is far more fun. |
