.... who's shoes?
If you could actually see through someone's eyes and spend a day experiencing what they do, feeling their emotions and truly appreciating their perspective... Who would you choose and why? |

"It changes daily.
Today I would say my grandad, he always had wonderful tales I would have liked to have experienced them for myself
Who would you choose OP?
"
When I'm contemplative, I can get a bit maudlin. It would maybe make me appreciate all that is good for me if I were to see life through the eyes of a civilian stuck in the line of fire in the conflict in Syria perhaps. I hasten to add that I would love to be able to stay oblivious to it all. Just a bit pensive today methinks. |

Duuuude, that's heavy man.
I'd like to spend a day in the eyes and outlook of my boys just to make sure they're happy and I'm doing a good job.
Any problems or feelings they're having could be easily reassured or solved by myself now I'm all grown up.
Oh and also to reaffirm that dad actually means all the, "work hard at school and don't end up grafting your fingers to the bone working for 'the man' like me cause I may seem happy and generally am, every so often it fucking grinds" |

Yeah, I need a self slap about the chops and lighten up!!
Not having kids, I can only imagine what it must be like to want to be able to be there for them always and to want to know the right thing to say to make everything alright all the time.
Awesome that you feel like that though |

I agree with this, I'd like to understand, regardless of how much pressure she is under, and regardless of how many times my siblings and I offer, she doesn't wish to share the burden of whatever is on her shoulders. |
