Very importantly, I read the profile first IN FULL, to see if it is worthwhile me answering.
If not, I move on.
If Yes, I recheck it again, picking out the points that appeal, but there is no defining factor I seek in each. However, photos do help!
Sometimes, the "Seeking" section may quote one factor, which is immediately contradicted in the Profile text itself.
If on that occasion, I feel it may be worth checking out, I send a polite enquiry asking which statement is correct? I do get responses from people, some of whom weren't aware they were sending out mixed messages. Others do not reply in nice terms, but the less said about them the better! |

"Start at the top and work to the bottom
Have just removed capital letters from my profile didnt realise it caused such offence just work in capitals all the time find it easier "
Using Capital Letters in any forum page, is the equivalent of using them in an email message. It's _iewed as "shouting" at any potential _iewers.
Strangely enough, I joined small company in Essex about 10 years ago and found they sent out all their Sales Letters etc, in Block Capitals throughout the entire length of the letter.
I discovered this was because the inexperienced secretary only typed any correspondence that way.
Then in turn, they wondered why they never got any replies.
I took over the marketing; within a week, the replies were coming in |

Single guy: Is he bi? (I am)
Single female: Is she bi? (Siren isn't)
Couple: Is he bi, hope she's straight.
That's what Siren looks for.
As for me...
"Nice fucking tits!" |

I look at the profile as a whole including the amount and placing of capitals and the length of any list(s) of No................
The other thing guaranteed to make me move on immediately is a profile which is just one looooooooooooooong unpunctuated paragraph.
Life is just too short for that sort of thing. |

Photos for me - and not only cos Im a perv, but because I like photographs, then I will read the profile. I tend to forget about the personal information bit. Thats why Ive come unstuck at times. Ive messaged people and they've responded and we've had a chat etc. Then the OH has come on and looked read their profile and find we are incompatible, ie; they only bareback |

Looking for profiles that actually tell you something about the person/couple. Being able to spell most of the simple words is a must. Text speech is a huge turn off. There must be hundreds and hundreds of one liner profiles - surely if you can't write more than two sentences you're not exactly going to be the most stimulating person to meet up with. A pic in the avatar is a must, even if it's a cartoon! Some sort of pic in the profile, just to give a taster of what you might look like. I understand the need for privacy, not showing a face pic to the whole world, but hey anything is better than nothing. Nothing tells us that you are just on here to have a look see, or are just so bone idle that you expect a sexual liaison to just mystically appear in the ether beside your computer terminal. |

"Capital letters barking out instructions to anyone daring to think about contacting them ,instant turn off for me."
We have both text sizes in our profile but we are not shouting, we get asked the same questions over and over again so i thought the large text would be better for those who have trouble reading our profile (and thats quite a few) but it makes no odd's there are still numptys out there
As for us we check to see if the female is bi first then how far away they live.
