It reminds me of a wanker of a banker, who slagged me off as being weird and sad for rebuffing him, telling me it is my loss as he makes upwards of 750k+ a year, and that bus drivers would be more suitable for me.
I responded to say I do not need to brag about my wealth in order to get ahead in this world and to get laid, unlike some people, and that I am not the one throwing toys out of a pram etc...
He then changed his tunes, and still thinks he has a hope and keeps asking to be given a second chance. I just ignore me. |

I don't think many do... I'm told everyday I'm sexy and the only woman in the world for my master... that's all that matters to me.

It isn't a discussion though is it. You made a statement and it is a little bit near to the mark that some could be offended by it. It does smack of someone who's been rebuked though - even though you might not have, perhaps that was just your way of wording it.
This scene is all about acceptance and realising that even if someone isn't someone else's particular cup of tea they still have the right to have some sexy fun.

Swinging requires an amount of confidence and self worth. Your profile is an advertisement and as in any advertising campaign, you have to sell yourself.
Its no point putting in a profile - I am really ugly, so anyone fancy a meet?
People who have low self esteem and lack of confidence perhaps arent best suited to this scene because all of us will face the knock back and none of us should feel put out by that or upset by it.
So for the confident, happy, high self esteem, ones amongst us, yes we do feel we are attractive. I dont think im ugly at all, I know im not the most beautiful woman in the world, bodywise im a big girl, but im not ugly. I acknowledge my good points and bad.
If im ugly in some peoples eyes and they dont find me attractive then so be it. But as long as im ok within my own skin and i am reasonably self assured and happy thats all that counts.

I think there are a lot of people who swing as a means of gaining confidence. They feel wanted thing can be almost like a drug to some and the more attention they get the better they feel about them self. I don’t think this is bad but i can see how some see it as deluded at times. |

I agree with iconic - it takes a reasonably confident person to swing and to shrug off any rejections they might get. Also, it is about how one feels about oneself, shiort or tall, slim or large... if one is happy in one's own skin and feels confident... that confidence, not arrogance, exudes and sends positive vibes to others. It is rather attractive.  |

I maybe the most beautiful person to one person but ugly to another person but I have always lived by the saying if you can't love yourself how are you expected that someone else will love you. I love myself I love my strengths and my good points but I also love my bad points.
We are who we are at the end of the day so if someone thinks they are beautiful why knock them down.. |

Discuss?..........ok, but please narrow it down a little.
'Too many' - does that mean there is an ideal number and we are past the tipping point, are we one or two over allocation or way over. How will we know when it's too few? What would too few look like, lack of confidence on the site? No confidence, scared to meet? In fact what is the ideal number? How should we measure it?

'on here' - as in on the forums, on FAB, on swinging sites, on the swinging scene? On the Internet or just on your outbox?
'deluded value' - a delusion can work in two ways, do you think on the whole 'they' underestimate or overestimate their attractiveness Its all relative so you probably cannot have one set without the other. How do we measure the over or underestimation. Do we have a standard? Should we develop a standard? How do we agree it? Once agreed and a survey done how do we convince those out of the standard to fall into line, what if the standard is not attractive to some of us?

'their attractiveness' - attractiveness of their profile? Their written word? Their fantasies? Their location? The artistic interpretation of their avatar? Their Personality? Their physical look? Which one should we be measuring and creating the standard for?
