How wonderful a veg they are and all the amazing dishes you can make with them.

Irish mixed grill used to be roast potatoes boiled potatoes mashed potatoes and chips. Maris Pipers for me.

I cant eat normal potatoes so have to have sweet potatoes, either make fries in the actifry or baked and then i load it with creme freche that has chopped spring onion and bacon mixed in! Its wonderful

Am loving Charlotte potatoes atm. Just boiled is fine, or they are lovely when you roast them

Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F, gas mark 7). Cut the potatoes in half lengthways and place in a shallow roasting tin. Add the chopped herbs, garlic and olive oil and stir well.

Season generously with salt and freshly ground black pepper and place in the oven. Cook for 45 mins or until crisp and golden brown.

Mmm..sounds lovely. We grow Charlotte potatoes, but have never roasted them, I normally steam, but I'm going to try your recipe
