I hate that!
Peiple that have priblems with dpace and boundaries dont get hints!
You're going to have to be blatent and say that you like to work on your own.
If that doesnt work then you're going to have to ask them to leave you on your own to work and give zero fucks!

Could you not say, I don't mean to be rude, but I can work better on my own, without distractions. I will get the task completed faster/on schedule...... |

I've had this in a previous job.
I used the Health and Safety excuse.
"If I turn around with this power saw/ 4x2 plank/ metal pole etc etc I may hit you. So please can you move out of the way'
Now explain to him, if he still persists in standing in the way that should an accident happen he won't be covered by your insurance because you have asked him to move.
If that fails I stopped work until they moved and explained again their safety is your main concern because accidents DO happen.
These always worked for me 100% |

Another way along with the above is that at the very start of the day spend 5mins explaining what you intend to do that day.
Good luck because these folks are a pain in the neck. Although to be fair it's often because of previous bad experiences. |

So...
Go to your local Indian restaurant order yourself a nice overly species curry... mixed meat. Ensure it's hotter than you can normally take.
Throw some bhaji on that order too.
Get yourself off home and throw a few stellas on top of that. Good lad.
Now all done. Get yourself off to bed. But just before...
Pop three boiled eggs down your neck, there's a good chap.
Now the next day at work just let your bowels release all that curried eggy misery - guff after acrid guff.
You sir... are welcome.

I had a guy working for me who was a bit like that... as we worked outside I got him to dig a hole for me. Gave him specific dimensions. He set to it with spade and pick and did a great job. When had finished i told him to fill it in. True story! He learnt not to sit over anyone after that. |

Be direct and tell him that you're a perfectionist who needs to work alone to achieve your results. And make a point of agreeing times when you will meet and speak with him and update him on progress. |

I've had this in the past, I've just told them to give me distance and leave me to get on with the task in hand...... if that doesn't work, then just tell them to fuck off and leave you alone while you get on with it, I've said that to a few clients too, jokingly of course |

I usually tell them I can work or chat, not do both, I also mention the fact that they are paying me my hourly rate to chat to me, it generally shuts them up fairly sharpish... Not quite as effective for price work. If he's just watching you, grin and bear it, annoying as it is
If you're intent on being blunt. Fuck off, and when you get back, fuck off again... |

"Ask your client/ employer for an interim payment. ...
what do u mean by that "
Ask for payment for the work done so far, cash flow, to tide you over, buy more materials or equipment etc. If that doesn't scare them away for a while I don't know what will. |
