"Dying. I've no other phobias.

Strangely this doesn't both me? I think it does clearly depend on the circumstances, but we are all born and we will all die. My thoughts are why be scared of it? It's peaceful for most x |

I see what your saying misterbee, I truly enjoy my life also. I've seen life torn from people far too young and I know how devastating that was to them and family. That's why I'm here, living my life for me. |

Down escalators. I was pushed onto one as a child by a stranger behind me and ever since I hate stepping onto one. I make myself do it but always have that moment of fear. |

"Those lotus seed heads...hate them
Weird holes in things freak me out.

There's a name for that - triptophobia possibly???
Apparently it's a normal reaction to keep up away from diseased and decaying things. |

And death moves closer with every ticking moment. . And as you said, it's unavoidable. It's not like avoiding height or running from spiders. I chose a phobia I can't avoid. I'm a dick. |

Though I love hieghts, I absolutely can't deal with looking straight up at tall objects. Buildings, cliffs, sometimes even clouds.
Get all dizzy and panicky |

Slugs. My heart is racing just typing this. It's irrational and I hate that they make me feel this way.
I trod on one years ago in bare feet and it's got so bad, I won't go outside in slug weather without a very bright torch and I now live in a second floor apartment. |

I've said this before and it's going to sound mad but my worst phobia, more revolting than slugs, is tomato ketchup. It literally brings me out in a cold sweat and makes me want to throw up - I can't bear seeing it, even on other people's food, having the bottle anywhere near me ... it genuinely freaks me out. |

Definitely heights, last year painted my house exterior the gable end hard as I tried not a hope could I go any higher on the ladder. A neighbour of mine came in & said he'd give me a hand. I thought super job , he said "up you go I'll hold the ladder for you" nervously I proceeded then froze was stuck up there for the best part of two hours ...... not a good look well for me anyways .....I'm sure he enjoyed though |

Being buried alive, anything on TV or film that even comes close to resembling that scenario I can't watch, makes me feel sick, start sweating, go pale, horrible. |

I have a phobia of heights pretty bad!
And another fear of being in large bodies of water which apparently stems from when I was taking swimming lessons and never managed to learn how to swim and kept being pressured and ridiculed for it. . . Still want to learn though haha |

I had a fear of dying before 40. Then i had a fear of dying under anaesthetic when i was due to have an op.
Now my fear is dying before my children reach teenage years and spiders.

Well, we will never meet for a meal, I have ketchup on most things phobias for me are:
Heights
Stairs
Lifts
Escalator's
Bridges
Surprise myself sometimes that I can ever leave the house!
Used to be cotton wool, but since having kids am getting over that one
