Good clean food. I'm currently working away and the stuff over here just isn't right. I can't even get real eggs...(it's egg substitute poured from a carton). Would love poached egg on toast. It's not too much to ask is it? I even had a care package sent with teabags as over here they appear to have removed the tea leaves and replaced it with ground up goats ass.
So what do you guys miss when you are away from home?

They gave me bacon with Danish pastries and fresh figs and cream for breakfast when I stayed !

I still miss proper teas. like the good herbal ones. and herbal salt for tomatoes...
and milk in the UK tastes different. took me bloody ages to be able to drink it!! |

When I'm away from home I miss my bed, soya milk (can't stand cows milk), and a good cuppa. Luckily I don't work away so it's holiday time only

I ordered biscuits and gravy one time as I could not believe it would be cookies and meat juice. It isn't, but it is utterly awful and liken to scones and sausage custard ... A southern state breakfast.
This week I had a petit quebec, now that was amazing. A bagel with a griddled egg, lettuce, cucumber and tomato. Beautiful.
