Hendricks is my favourite gin with tonic and a slice of cucumber.
Hotel du chocolat has chocolate gin. I really fancy trying it.
I also make my own sloe gin for Christmas.

Have been a G&T lover for many years, usually indulge in Bombay Sapphire with ice, slice and fevertree tonic or Hendricks when I'm feeling a little more indulgent.

Naked and in bed with us would be the best way Brandy may make randy, but gin will make you sin!
Lots of cocktails are gin based too, so you can have fun with those too.
And different tonics suit different gins - Fevertree is good, generally any diet tonic isn't |

Definitely try fevertree tonic if you haven't already! In terms of gin, Jinzu gin is lovely and fairly floral; seeing as you enjoyed the elderflower cordial aforementioned you might enjoy that. 6 O'Clock gin actually has elderflower in it so that might be another shout. Oh and try sloe gin if possible - homemade is best but if not then Chase do a nice one and Ableforth's Bathtub is yummy. Oh and Tanqueray for a classic. |

Try a Negroni - it has a kick like a mule but is very tasty."
love a negroni...but to quote denis leary 'don't make any fuckin' plans'...
loads of new gin makers around now,i still like plymouth gin though, bombay sapphire is hard to beat...and i really like a probably frowned upon spanish gin,Larios...lovely lemony taste.. |

Try Botanist, Poetic License, Edinburgh gin, Harris gin, caorunn, or sipsmiths, all are good - I like fevertree Mediterranean or naturally light tonics, or fentimans.
Brockmans is a lighter, fruitier gin nice with a plain tonic and some blueberries. |

Fever tree with angostura is a new one of theirs.
Really like Sipsmiths lemon drizzle.
Got Malfi Italian lemon gin to try!
I prefer one big ice cube... Morrison's do them. |

A large shot (fill the measure cup and put a splash from the bottle for luck) of Hendricks in a tall glass with a strip of cucumber, twisted wedge of Lime and a handful of ice and topped up with fevertree tonic is just the best!
In fact I'm gonna have one... ah who am I kidding, more like two, right now |

Gin and tonic so good why spoil it..
But try Plymouth Navy Gin...58% proof ...
If you go to St Ives there is an amazing off licence..Harpers I think it's called..
We spent £140 on gin in there!
Sharish is also fun as is blue but when you add tonic it turns pink.
And warners rhubarb gin is mmmmm |

I tried Monkey Gin a few times but it's too peppery to my palate.
Bombay Sapphire is delicious with a ripe strawberry sliced in half and a slice of lemon though. |

I find the new fashion for different gins amusing. It's a marketing dream!
Personally always liked Gordon's or Bombay Sapphire with a wedge of lime and tonic. Schweppes. |

Bloom is a nice light drink.
Wilkins and Sons (the jam people from Tiptree) do some nice flavoured gins. Try the damson with lime juice and ginger beer.
A Bramble is a nice summer cocktail. Gin, creme de mure (or casis), frozen berries, ice, top up with tonic. |

See this is where I struggle with gin, I like it but most seem to serve it with tonic and I can't drink it as I don't do fizzy drinks. Can manage a bit of prosecco but not too much. What would you recommend instead? X |

If you use slimline or sugar free tonic it keeps the dry bite.
Try Bombay sapphire if no ones recommended it.
Sloe gin, its sweet but it's gorgeous I recently got introduced to it and like it with soda and ice.
And if you can find it 'botanist' it's made on a Scottish island and is gorgeously crisp and dry.

Was not overly impressed with Chocolate Gin.......Hendrick's is super, if you are close enough the Bombay Sapphire plant where they infuse the grain spirit at Whitchurch near Andover iis well worth a visit and will certainly take you a bit further down the Gin Journey |

Rhubarb gin with fever tree tonic and a slice of pink grapefruit is beautiful.
Today I tried a pink grapefruit and pomegranate gin that I may have to treat myself to.

Marion is definitely a G&T girl... but not your everyday Bombay Sapphire or whatever.
Favourite gins:
- Hoxton
- Half Hitch
- Sacred Pink Grapefruit
Tonic of choice - Fevertree elderflower
Favourite gin joints
- The Office, Brighton
- The Merchant House, City, London
- The London Gin Club, Soho, London |

Oh I love gin, probably more than I love tea and I'm known for that too.
My bog standard is either Bombay Sapphire, Bloom or Hendricks.
I love Tanqueray 10, Caorunn, Brockmans. Oh so many more!
Research your garnish, it can really make a difference to your gin.
However I'm not a tonic snob, I'm not massively keen on fever tree.
I can recommend the gin festivals, great opportunity to try different gins. I'm booked in for 3 this year, great afternoon/evening out if you're with good friends

The best I've tried so far is silentpool. Obviously fever tree tonic but I also like a tonic called beverage no9, flavoured with cardamom
Try your g&t with a slice of orange studded with clives.
A friend of mine likes a dash of bitters with his.
G&T time I think.

Recently back from Holiday in Zimbabwe. When they were building the railways in Zim (then Rhodesia) over 100 years ago it was discovered that the teetotaler workers all died of Malaria. The connection between Quinine (in tonic water) as an anti malaria drug was established.

As someone else has said, the gin festival is great to discover all the gins that aren't found on the high Street/supermarkets
Was at the Nottingham gin festival yesterday...
Brockmans is divine, especially with fever tree ginger ale
Discovered poetic licence yesterday... Delicious
Black tomato was different but i found i quite liked it
And the Edinburgh gin liqueurs are lush...
As is breackmans hazelnut or vanilla genever.... Like baileys only not as yucky creamy and made with gin, very very yummy |

Great choice of gins available now. But no matter how good the gin, you do need a good tonic.
Search out 1724 tonic and BTW tonic, probably the best out there.
Current favourites are Warner Edwards Rhubarb gin served with ginger ale, Brockmans served with plain tonic, lots of crushed ice, blackberries and blueberries. Housemate drinks Bloom, slimline tonic, garnished with strawberries and rose petals.
All time favourite is a Gimlet made with Plymouth navy strength.

I wouldn't say I'm a connoisseur as we only drink a few times a year. That being said, I do like Tonic with cucumber and I'll try various brands with that same mix. Alkemist is my current favourite. |
