Why is online so difficult nowadays to even get a match? I don't know if it's my looks or profile. Obviously not talking about fab.
And even just meeting and talking to girls at bars and clubs, they either are taken, gay and the conclusion being I am an amazing great guy and will defo find someone.

Lots of my friends met their partners through a shared interest - tri club, cycling, running. Is there something that interests you where you might meet different people? |

Singing, guitar. Music. Cooking. But still don't know where to meet them.
I do realize I made the mistake of not really bothering about dating while at uni as I was too focused on my studies. Silly of me to realize later of what a golden opportunity I missed out on meeting and socializing with more people.
Sucks that nowadays work kills most of your day. |

True. But then again being single for the past 6 years does take a toll on you. Specially watching couples on a daily basis and realising, Yup that's what I am missing out on.

Get on Tinder if it's that kind of thing you want, it's flipping brilliant for the socials and things like that, went up town with quite few on that and then ended up with the super bitch control freak girl.
What I will say though is you've actually got to want to date, if you just want sex, it's not for that at all and they will see straight through you on there.

I am just venturing in to the online dating world for the first time in years. I enjoyed it in the past and met some nice women. It is a lot more accepted these days than it was back then. It is too early to tell so far though, I've only sent a couple of messages and haven't spoken to or met anyone yet. Fingers crossed. Hopefully there are one or two who haven't been to Specsavers yet. |

Terminally single here!
It has its good and bad points....good being I can do whatever I like when I like without having to think of anyone else.
Downside being I sometimes miss the intimacy of having someone to cozy up on the sofa with.
Being on here I'm getting used to meeting lasses where we've both decided we want to fuck before we've met....most of the time anyway!
So what little dating game I had is being slowly but surely eroded the longer I'm on here.
Totally my own doing though,if I was more proactive on the 'normal' dating sites I'm on then things would be different!
Can't complain really....I'm Scottish though so I will anyway!  |

Madzy I feel for you mate . My situation is a little different i have always found it so easy in bars , clubs , library's even shops never had issues every weekend I used to go out and very rare that I wouldn't find a girl .
But since I decided to fully put that kind of lifestyle to bed and focus purely on working my bollocks off to retire before I am 40 which is nearly complete now the world seems to have moved on and more of the dating and having a good time seems to have switched to online dating etc and I am useless at this side of live I don't seem to be able to transfer personality from me to the written word so I feel your pain there .
I have had long term relationships and they have pro and cons but I have chosen to be single for a while now as it allows me to focus on completing my life goals without the strains that a lot of relationships can put on you. I would chose to remain single now until someone incredible came along but it's unlikely that will happen as I don't have the time to socialise.
I do wish you the very best in your search mate as you seem like a good guy and I believe that everyone deserves happiness in their lives and I am sure you will meet that person and you will enjoy your life you just have to remain positive and I am sure you will be fine best of luck mate |

Single 8 years now, it's good and bad, bad is no cuddles and no holding hands, good is bed to myself and fuck it I've got pockets to keep my hands warm, stay single, much better to have your own mind than be like those couples in the supermarket trying to decide what meal for two they want....  |
