I read though that to generate some of the electric they burn biomass such as wood pellets. Some campaigners say that using wood pellets to generate electricity is speeding up, not slowing down, climate warming. So who knows yet, if the way forward is necessarily a good thing. |

Half was gas
25% nuclear

Wind farms contribute too "
I'm sure I read that Scotland is self sufficient in terms of Wind Power being able to provide 100% of its electricity needs |
