Yes, we have also played but that was years ago. We are now just very good platonic friends. |

yes..... they have a flag pole with a Dundee United flag flapping on a windy day... now if it was an authentic Vivienne Westwood flag... maybe and just maybe, I might nod if they pass. |

On one side of me it's a holiday home so empty most of the year.
On the other it's a mother and son from hell.
I make small talk to keep the peace with them and helped bury their cat when it died but nothing more. |

I have to assume a Dundee flag is bad. Are you into crocodile conservation by any chance? |

Mostly good, all moved in round about the same time. Lass upstairs is one of my best mates and there have been times when I would have been totally lost without her. Rest I usually say hello to and occasionally have a wee blether with. |

Good if you can stop friends after. Did he know he was moving next to you before he did. Or did he target moving in next door? |

Yep sure we get on with our neighs.
One's a member of the LGBT community, gives me the smiles, big eyes, drools and brings me free freshly laid eggs from his chicken coop out back (and we take turns on other jobs and stuff), and t'other is a rugby ref who's into real ale, tidivating bushes and a good larf...
and we all love a party, so.. yeah.. fantastic really lol

had a neighbour from hell upstairs (converted victorian terrace) loud music, swearing and banging. Thought about taking action with the council but found out he has an illness he is dealing with so decided be nice and to take the softly softly, reasonable talk to him approach. Pleased to say it seems to be working.
Result. (fingers crossed it remains that way - broken several broom handles banging on't ceiling). |

my landlord owns both flats and when the lad next door moved out he asked me if i knew any1 that was looking.
at that time, andy was looking to move so i put em in touch, he liked it so moved in about 6 weeks later |

it works well in terms of when i have gentleman callers they can be as noisy as they like without the prospect of them upsetting a homophobe neighbour
the downside is he does like coming round and cadging either a) food or b) washing machine tablets |

My neighbours are absolutely mental.
Last year he knocked on my door ib the middle of the night ... Pissed as a fart, crying because he had lost his keys. I brought him in and let him sleep on the sofa. Woke up the next day to find him nekkid! He didn't even bother to get dressed went into bathroom, got a towel and came back to sit down... He found his keys in his pocket!!
Then a few weeks ago he beat up his girlfriend and now I have to go to court as a witness!!
And that's only one neighbour... The rest are nearly as nuts.
I'm the only normal one
