Not sure what the problem is OP? Being asked for a contribution towards the cost of a hotel room seems entirely acceptable to me - I'd certainly expect to pay half if I met anyone in one.
As others have said, what represents a fair contribution is entirely up to all concerned and for you to discuss with the people involved. |
