It's not Manly enough

From somewhere else.

How grooming products are being sold to men has changed it's still making ourselves look beautiful, but would we do it if it was advertised in a manly way.

E.g. - a razor called MACH 3 *said with a deep movie trailer guys voice. This is what caught my eye this morning. It's Mach 3!!! This must be a tough razor for a tough guy!

Even lately perfume (sorry, after shave ) is in bottles shaped as a granade and now a roll of bullets.

My question is, It's still moisturiser guys, but if it's from a pink bottle would you use it?

I think there's been a rise in men using beauty products, see them a lot in boots etc going through the different products. Mr always has his man stuff at home but when he's at mine always comments how nice he smells after using my shower gel etc. Us women quite often use our men's things I'm sure men pinch their gf/ wife's stuff.

Personally I think the extended range of products available has helped this trend. Though as with women's products there are very overpriced products on the market but you generally get what you pay for.

Lush has some lovely products for men now. I like the scent of some of their stuff more than the products aimed at females.

When I cleared out my bathroom cabinet, I found loads of products my wife used to buy.

Faced with a choice of throwing it all out, or using it, I chose to use it up.

Shampoo is shampoo, regardless of the colour/smell etc. It doesnt matter what I wash with, when I rarely ever see anyone.

Not only that, but a lot of the products are very phallic in their design too

If it came in a tub like swarfega I'm sure that'd be a big seller too

I use a lot of the Boots botanics, the same as the No.7 range, but a third of the price

Liz Earle does a fabulous range of skincare products for men, inspired by the fact guys were stealing their wives/gfs products from the range. It's not the cheapest range but all natural ingredients, no synthetic crap. Even those with particularly sensitive skin, eczema etc will find these products probably work for them too. So come on get a skincare regime in place guys!!

I use anything that works for me...the packaging is irrelevant.

I use women's moisturisers I'm sure as I use all those tubes you get in flight toiletries.

I don't give a damn as long as it works

My current moisturiser is bloody expensive and a ladies brand...I got it to trial for a friend...it's probably one of the best I've used.

Honestly it doesn't matter what box or colour it comes in as long as it does the job it's supposed to!

If I had to. Yes. Liz Earle cleanse and polish, same shit, just packaged in grey for men.

Bic and Gillette disposable razors, pink for women's legs...blue etc for men's faces but it's the same moulds....

Incidentally, pink was originally a boys colour, derived from red, powder blue a girls colour, inverted in the 1920s in America so pink was for girls, blue for boys...stayed that way ever since...

Constantly steal wife's body spray, if I'm going to walk around all day smelling of something, it's going to be something I like. Mens ones seem to smell ok for few mins, but end up all chemically smelling.

I like my aftershave though, so she can keep her perfume to herself
