Clicking through the 'recent threads I've posted to' the first 8 I never got a reply or acknowledgement off the person who started the thread.  . A couple of them the Op hasn't even returned to it yet.
Does anyone else here actually talk to themselves through the day?
I do, and I talk out loud when I'm working/concentrating on something. |

It's how it goes around here Op..
I was chatting with an old acquaintance on here.. Not that she's old, just I have known her a few years (phew, got outta that one.. Just), we were reminiscing over the blogs on the previous site we inhabited.. They were epic, the blogs would last for days and invariably only no more then 4 would run at any one time...
She stated that the forums on fab move too fast for her to keep up with and the sheer quantity of new threads starting all the time.. And that I think is the crux of the matter..
Unless you can dedicate all of your time to your to your thread, invariably you will miss posts, especially on the more popular ones..
So I don't always think it's the op not wanting to reply, just maybe skipping over some because of the sheer quantity in such a small time.
But I do expect to be ignored by the Op.. I was a little cruel to him with the status switch game the other evening.. Not sure he'd have forgiven me yet.. |

There are only a few OPs who go out of their way to reply to every poster. Most are selective. So much so that it is very noticeable those that do. I expect to get ignored as most of the time I just post random shite that no one should take much note of. |

If it's a popular topic it can be pretty hard going replying to all comments & sometimes it doesn't add anything to the conversation.
On the flip side I can pretty much guess (yes I am that bored at times) if the OP will reply to mine or bypass for another. |

I talk to myself out loud when alone in the quietness of my own home, well actually i talk to my dog and he's a great listener.
When out and about i have a running commentary in my head that sounds like a narrative from Samuel L Jackson. The word "Motherfucker" gets used a lot. Especially if shopping. |
