Northern England

I've just read that Ed Sheeran has had "Galway Grill" tattooed on his arm after his friend Saoirse Ronan deliberately miss spelt it in her handwriting on his arm which the tattoo artist merely copied.

The story reminded me of an old story about a Hell's Angel / biker chick who wanted a "Satan's Slave" tattoo.

Unfortunately the tattoo artist did "Stan's Slave" - well it made me chuckle anyway.

Any other funny / embarrassing tattoo stories?

I've seen an 'angle' tramp stamp.

I got a tattoo that was supposed to be a joke twist on certain types of tattoos. It turned out to be wrong anyway which makes me love it all the more.

There is a, possibly apocryphal, story of a lady who had enigmatic Chinese characters tattooed on her body. All very admirable till a Chinese guy asked why she had 'supermarket' on her back.

I've long had a desire to get an American flag tattooed on myself as a joke, but I know people wouldn't think I was joking and Marc would probably divorce me. So nope!
