I just got a alert on the app that john will leave at the end of the season, after 20 years playing there, what do you think of the news? He looks to prolong his playing career. |

As a person he is deeply flawed.
As a footballer is was awesome.
Its the right time for him to go. He probably has a year or 2 left in his legs to play in the USA. Hopefully he'll come back to the Bridge in a coaching capacity in the future. |

Obviously a loyal servant to Chelsea and had some good years for England - as someone else suggested shame his prowess as an old fashioned guts and glory centre back are somewhat marred by events off the field.

We were at the Sunderland game last season when he got sent off. That was meant to be his it for him and what a way it would have been to go. Imagine shagging your mates wife then he has to leave the club because Terry was captain. Nasty piece of work. |
