Ice locks can be made in a number of forms.
Commercially they are typically a metal cylinder about the size of a soft drinks can into which a bar slots in. The cylinder is filled with water and the bar inserted and then the whole device frozen.
DIY forms can be similar to the commercial bezices but can include freezing loops of the rope or chain inside the ice block or freezing the padlock key into a block of water.

Nah, got some of the silk bondage rope and it's just not the same. I have some gorgeous dyed jute. |
