Just a caution to anyone planning on using the trains via Reading to get to the race, it seems that there is works between Reading and London that weekend and the dreded bus replacement services.

According to GWR 'Buses getting Marathon runners into London Paddington by 08:00 depart:

Reading at 06:20 and 06:50

Slough at 06:40 and 07:10

Maidenhead at 06:30 and 07:00'

Yes getting very scary now. Second year doing it and hoping it goes a little better than last year.

Legs went at 17 miles had to run/walk last 9 miles. Wanted sub 4 had to settle for 4.24.
