It's obvious. No one pretends to be a male and consequently needs verifying on here.

Contact admin cos it may just be you. They have confirmed be for that men can be cam verified cos I raised the question with them. It shoukd stoll be in the help section somewhere.

It's a unilateral rule, unaware of any exemptions based on gender. It still offers cam or phone as a verification option but oddly states in brackets next to the option - cam/phone verification is no longer accepted.

I never check cam verifies for a guy. Im usually 99.99% certain they are male anyway and them having talked to someone on cam doesnt tell me anything about how they are as a person or if they're reliable and will turn up.

For females and couples I think they carry more weight but only to confirm they are the right gender or there are 2 of them.

I know of a profile that was fake, using stolen pics of an American body building blogger. I'd come across him a few years ago, and did some detective work. He was pretending to be from the North of England, when the real person was in the States. He was fooling lots of women.

He turned up on here-same pics, same location, and had a cam verification from a well verified couple.

Why they did it, or how he fooled them, I don't know. But he was removed from the site.

I do still think a cam verification from a moderator, in a chat room would have been acceptable. Or, someone trusted by the site, to not be swayed by muscles and a sharp wit.

It's just one issue. It highlights even further the general attitude to men by the women on this site. It's a safety issue I think. Plus, the amount of men using fake pics. It's not just us picking on you. I've met unverified men and lived. I've rea of people meeting men from internet sites, and not lived. They wanted people to able to know who they were meeting.

Of course, people can and do use old photos-both men and women. That is a risk we all take on here.
