Herts

Who else suffers with massive mixed emotions before a meet? I spend the day usually thinking of excuses to cancel, while all along I'm excited to meet the person! Once in their company I am completely fine but the run up to it I am a wreck! Can't have a drink as I'm driving so what do you suggest to calm the nerves?!

Yes, I suffer with crippling anxiety re meeting someone for the first time. I'm working on it.

It's the age old methods. Breathe deeply, close eyes, calm thoughts, repeat.

It's normal to be excited/nervous. I'd say it's time to give up when you no longer have those thoughts prior to a meet.

I get really nervous. Its why I find more spontanious meets (like within a couple of days) better for me. If I wait too long I end up cancelling as I build it up too much. The people I end up meeting are the ones I like talking to so I feel comfortable enough admitting to them that I am nervous. Hearing that they are too (and lets be honest I reckon most people are) eases it a bit x

Completely. Shake like a leaf and jabber nonsense.

The first kiss usually settles it down

Yep, normally I'm ok until about an hour or two ahead and then I might get the first tummy flutter when I think about it.

Then as it gets closer the adrenaline definitely starts to pump more. I've said it before on these threads but there have been some meets where the adrenaline has pumped so much I'm literally shaking beforehand - I'm not particularly terrified as such, it's just the involuntary reaction to the adrenaline rush.

Once the ice is broken and we've had a few minutes 'getting to know you' it soon subsides but for those who've met me it's probably very noticeable for the first 5 or 10 minutes or so!

However this buzz is half of the fun of a meet - the day I don't get an adrenaline rush or excited ahead of a meet, I'm done!

God I shake all over, and struggle to talk a coherent sentence. But once the kissing starts I'm ok x

This doesn't affect me as I rarely get a meet, haha.... Nerves are good and make you more aware, though you could try them 'kalm' tabs if you get too anxious

It's been that long since we were able to arrange a meet that I honestly can't remember.

Never been nervous at all! I'm usually the instigator and totally in charge.

Not at all. I like to be there first n found. (Public meets)

Because then if they don't like you can leave. No wasted time. But if they do. The exchange of sniles when your happy it's what's on the tim.

I prepare with bathing exfoliating etc. It turns into spa day then sexy times x

I try not to think about the actual meet too much until I'm on my way. I don't get that bad until then, then I'm wondering if they're going to turn up,if they like me visa versa.

I always get a bit nervous/anxious before a first meet...I think it's only natural that you wonder a lot about what may happen etc, expectations to live up to...From 2nd meets onwards all is fine for me though. I was very nervous when I went to a small party a few years ago, but my penis still worked so it was all ok haha.

Think it's only human nature to have a little nervous apprehension adds to the thrill of it all if that stopped, then it becomes the norm

Totally agree!! The sooner the meet the better I feel!!

I'm more excited than nervous and looking forward to it! Just need to step into something comfortable and get going
