As my profile states I'm a sub( bedroom only) but where do these so called Doms get off thinking because my profile has that one little word in it I would just meet any minger because they claim to be a Dom. Surely like most things in dating/ sex/ kink/ and online it's all starts with some form of physical connection. Im normally dom but i still like to get to know the person who will be subbing to me, i like to know them better than just a piece of meat. Plus i like to know where their boundaries are and stuff it all helps in the end as i know what not to do and stuff |

I haven't looked at your profile but just going by the picture attached to this thread you look to have a pretty good figure, so you are going to attract people. Whether you are a sub or not you are on a swingers site and a site to meet people open to sex. You are going to get mails from people because of this. It sounds like you don't want to get these mails so you can either find a site for your needs or change your filters and find people you like and message them yourself. It might stop a lot of unwanted mails and you feeling like a piece of meat. |

Unfortunately there are more than enough dim doms (and they seem to be mostly male sadly) around who have seen elements of BDSM on-line, or *shudder* read Fifty Shades and think that D/s equates to a submissive being a weak person who is unable to make any choices for themselves and therefore only need to be told what to do, and they will blindly do it.
Quite the opposite is true of course, in that the submissive in some respects holds all the control and power until such time as they choose to hand it over to someone of *their* choosing.
Not a great deal to be done about the dim doms though, as invariably they'll trot out lines like "you can't be a true submissive then" and carry on blindly believing their own deluded fantasy version of D/s without actually taking the time to learn its true foundations which are based in trust, respect and indeed attraction, chemistry and connection. |

Bollocks indeed. I don't give a hoop if the guys I meet are conventionally attractive. If I find them emotionally attractive I fancy them. Job done. Whether or not they find me aesthetically pleasing might help initially, especially if they are more inclined towards the visual than I am, but I'd like to think it's not the main reason. |
