Do you believe in fate?

I'm not a great believer in fate, or that my life is pre-ordained in any way whatsoever, but sometimes things happen that make you sit up and wonder hmmmmm..

Siren had a miscarriage on Valentine's Day this year so we planted a Valentine's Rose in the garden. There are four of us (me, Siren, daughter, son), and another on the way.

The rose grew 6 buds this year, four of them are in bloom, one has yet to open, and the 6th blossomed briefly before it died.

Karma? Fate?

Quite possibly a guardian angel telling you that they are keeping an eye on you

(And no, I'm not taking the piss)

That's a comforting thought.

I don't actually but like you im left wondering sometimes

There are things relating to Wendy and I for instance that you just couldn't make up and leave me wondering, if maybe sometimes we are given a little helping hand

Or in your case mate a sign that maybe just maybe we ain't as alone as we sometimes think xx

Yes very much so...

I always believe things happen for a reason, however I believe more like we make choices a bit like those books you used to be able to get... like fight the monster and move to page 10. Hide from it and go to page 22.

yeah i believe in fate, i fell pregnant on the implant and my daughter was the best thing to ever happen to me. She came at a time where my family were at war with each other and i was caught in the middle, but since having her everything has calmed down and everyone is on talking terms

Life is what you make it. Many people use the fate thing as an excuse for not putting any effort in to achieving anything and blame it on fate. In this world you make your own destiny or don't depending on if you are apathetic or not.

It really does test one's spiritual beliefs, or not as the case may be.

I think I'm just a little sensitive to our situation and if the numbers match it's easy to think that maybe someone(thing) is looking over us.

Hope to fook it's not my nan, she'd have a fit with some of the stuff we get up to!

I belief my life has been mapped out by fate and intuition. There are to many things that have happened in my life for it not to be "just one of those things" im also very in tune with things. My friends always call me the witch lol.

I stopped doing the tarot many years ago when something i predicted freaked me out (although it wasnt necessarily a bad thing)

Turn left at the Singing Ringing Tree

I believe that our lives consist of many forks in roads and dependent on which path we choose to walk, life leads us in curious directions. Fate, Karma, or whatever religion you subscribe to - you only have one life and should try to live it to the full.

I am a scientist in my thinking, have an analytical mind and expect logic in most things... HOWEVER... there are things between heaven and earth that do not follow those patterns of science and logic. I have experienced toomany times in my life that going "with the flow" so to speak and the things that are meant to be ... will be. Whether this is in relationships, in decisions relating to work or whatever... If it is not meant to be, it almost does not matter how much effort you put in to make it happen... it either does not happen or when/ if it does... it wont make you any happier. Just my tuppence

I do believe in fate but sometimes wish that Fate was a little kinder to me.. My mum says I am the unluckiest person as bad luck seems to follow me.

Sorry to hear that... They say that a confident attitude sends positive vibes to others and helps improve things

I believe in the spirit world, and that we all have a guardian angel, and that in a time when we feel we need reasurrance or guidance they send us signs to let us know they are there.

Without sounding like i need the men in white jackets, i believe it was a sign Wishy, to let you know that your baby is in the after life and safe and still looking after you's. xx

The human mind plays greatly with coincidence. However it has, at least, got you thinking and discussing and hopefully find peace

For me it's more to do with compartmentalising things. So long as I can put something in it's mental pigeon hole I'm alright with the world. Siren feels things a lot more spiritually than I do and when I mentioned our rose to her this morning she was on the verge of tears. She saw what I meant by it though and I think it does bring comfort.

It certainly got me thinking about fate though, which is something I never usually do.

I work things out in my head, find a reason why somethings happened then put closure to it and move on to the next chapter.

So much so that when i talk about past experiences i talk about them as though they happened to another person as im so far removed from them

The thing with tarot readings is to look for the positives not the negatives, i never ever do a reading and tell people bad things, thats not how it should be done! people should always go away happy even after a cry, but it would be a happy cry lol. And yes we all have a guardian angel watching over us (but not while were at it i hope lmfao)!

Fate will always be just fate, its what we put into our own lives that makes things happen, nothing or anyone else can alter that!v
