An honest profile

So after six years of swinging , we figured it was time to be absolutely honest with our profile . It's not that we haven't been honest in the past , far from it , but of late we figured we would point out some of the negatives about us too .
So what do you lot think ?
Is honesty the best policy ?

Some will say it reads a little negatively but personally I think it works and gets across nicely both who you both are and what your expectations are without coming on too heavy. If people don't like it then they'll move on, but am sure it will work for a lot of people, especially those that know and respect you from your posts on the forums  |

Must be a nightmare finding meets way out in Corfu , but we love getting up to all sorts of shenanigans is vanilla pubs and clubs too , so perhaps that would work ?
We love fab and would love to get about a bit more than we do , but with a child it's not easy . |

I just read it.
It's good because it does what profiles should do and that is polarise who you DON'T want.
You'll repel a lot but attract the right ones. |

We like it because it says not for us clearly and with no ambiguity. We like the natter and friends side of swing too and profiles that really say what people want make it simple and straightforward.

I think you've got a great profile - I feel as if I'm really clear what you're both about and looking for. And also the message and meet needs.
If you see the forum post from someone about long profiles today, it speaks volumes about why we have to make profiles really clear and detailed - and often to deter the unsuitable. It may mean they are a little longer than others but better that than petrol costs etc wasted meeting the wasters. |

Well it's been a real surprise to see so many positive comments about our profile .
Since rewriting it we have had lots of messages from new people too , so it was well worth doing .
It's obvious now what to expect from meeting us , and rather than close any doors , it's opened more which I didn't expect .
