Do you ever wonder if the play/film influenced your personal life in some way? I've noticed that a fair few swingers like it, and after all, the characters express themselves sexually in ways that were controversial in the 70s, and some may still consider aspects of the plot as being distasteful.
I first watched it at 12/13 and realised I wasn't completely straight a year or two later, yet those feelings felt entirely natural. I think RHPS influenced that I was comfortable with my sexuality. |

"I was 12/13 when i saw it. I already knew i was bi. But id never seen a transvestite (this is 40 years ago) and i fell in love on the spot and that started my love of transvestites"

I didn't see it until I was in my late teens and by then id been bi for a while so no shockers...
I actually went to the cinema 'experience' before I saw the film on the telly...so dressing up in sussies and basque and a black tutu all seemed perfectly normal  |

No I don't think so,can remember watching the film when I was 7/8.
My auld dear also let me watch gory horrors from when I was the same age n I've been reading the freak bros n viz comics since before I could even read.
Hasn't affected me at all,I'm completely normallalalalalalalalala  |

You're right some aspects of the story are disgusting. And seeing these behaviours normalised is abhorrent. |
